How to use Claude in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (at the same time)

It only took me 10 minutes to turn an Excel financial model into a formatted board presentation live during one of my recent masterclasses, with no copy-paste and no reformatting.

3. Turn on, "Let Claude work across files":

In EVERY add-in's Settings, toggle it on. This allows Claude to see the context of everything you have open.

Important – Claude only ‘sees’ files that already open. So make sure you have the files you want open (even if they’re blank).
